Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the NA eConsumer Operations Lead, the Policy Administration System (Client) Product Owner is accountable for leading the system's build and enhancements from owning the features development roadmap for policy administration, Claims and Billing to leading the development, testing and product launch efforts.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve partnering with the Operations Lead as well as C IT and Operational departments to understand requirements, working with agile methodologies and engaging and influencing across disciplines including claims, technology, finance and operations. Critical to success will be a deep understanding of insurance systems/processes to develop a robust and deployable digital platform to support target customer experience and business goals.

Duties will include:
o Scope and define solutions to digital solution gaps, own the Policy Administration system roadmap, define features/functionality and prioritize efforts based on business need and opportunity, technology/resource costs, etc.
o Collaborate across internal operational and technology partners to define requirements and prioritize features/functionality, for the sale, service, billing, claims linked to the service and claims roadmaps
o Develop, launch and optimize digital assets via Agile teams, building a flexible and robust digital technology platform that drive business growth and provide high quality and modern customer experiences at all digital touchpoints.
o Translate business roadmaps into actionable plans in sprints, provide prioritization for the Agile teams to work through the Backlog.
o Usher digital product projects forward - address questions, define requirements, report on status to Digital leaders, etc. for this highly visible emerging business .

Qualifications
o 10 - 15 years of business management experience in insurance services (P&C /Life/A&H)
o 2 - 3 years of digital product owner/manager experience in policy admin/claim/billing systems
o Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
o Experience working across business and IT, preferably on digital initiatives
o Experience and demonstrates ability in deploying/maintaining insurance systems - policy administration, claims and billing (Guidewire, Majesco, Duck Creek etc.)
o Demonstrates ability to drive feature prioritization and development for both immediate and long-term digital product builds
o Demonstrated ability to lead change efforts with a track record of success in innovation ventures
