- Provide specialized nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
- Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to prepare patients for surgery
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control guidelines
- Operate equipment necessary for cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during the procedure
- Document all relevant information in patient medical records
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals
