Overview:

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Business Analyst on large initiatives preferably in a Business Continuity process preferably Property Casualty company. The successful candidate will work synergistically with the core delivery team to define, develop and implement business application solutions. This individual must have strong communication skills and business acumen as well as knowledge of the formal Software Development methodologies (Agile development a plus).

Primary Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you must plan, organize and facilitate requirement gathering sessions to elicit customer requirements and ensure that the goals were achieved. Must be able to understand the customer's objectives and business needs and translate those needs into Functional Requirements.
One with also well verse with Microsoft .Net, SQL Server technology; if needed ready to work on it.

Technical Knowledge Expectations:

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of applications systems analysis techniques. Able to rapidly learn technical / business techniques and disciplines of special value to the systems supported. Possesses a working knowledge of the business, and a conceptual understanding of the technical environments in which the system operates.

Responsibilities Include:
  • ssisting in the development of efficient and effective solutions to complex business problems
  • ssessing the solution risks thru understanding business impacts, environment and technology constraints, and industry trends
  • Using innovative insights and creativity in evaluating alternatives
  • Defining business requirements with an appreciation for process and technical constraints and opportunities
  • Understanding data modeling concepts and techniques
  • Technical skills like, Microsoft .Net, Querying in MS SQL and Strong MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of the SDLC methodologies (Agile, Incremental and Waterfall), Agile experience will be plus
