Job Description: REMOTE (Must be in greater Sacramento or Bay Area)
At the direction of the FCS Unit Supervising Analyst and Child and Family Focused Services (CFFS) Principal Manager, the analyst will work with the FCS Administrative Specialist, Senior Analyst, Legal team, court-connected volunteer faculty, and contractors to plan and implement statewide virtual training programs, including a webinar series for FCS mediators, child custody recommending counselors, and evaluators on mediation skills, the new SB 331 domestic violence training, the Institute for New Court Professionals, and on demand education content. The analyst will identify non-domestic violence course content and recruit subject matter expert faculty to develop court content and learning objectives, and ensure content is presented professionally on virtual platforms. The analyst will analyze and respond to the Electronic Training Approval Requests (ETAR) in Qualtrics, ensuring content meets initial and ongoing education requirements as required by CA rules of court and the Board of Behavioral Sciences. The position will work with colleagues, volunteers faculty, and contractors to design evaluations and post-tests for live and on demand offerings. The position updates the mediator/CCRC/NCP professional toolkit and on demand offerings on the Moodle platform, responds to email inquiries, and maintains the training tracking system.
Required Skills (preferred skills in parentheses)
Experience with court-connected mediation and child custody recommending services.
Experience with statutes and rules of court.
Ability to analyze education/training needs and create course content, including course descriptions and learning objectives.
Experience with large scale educational programs.
(Experience with designing web content and online learning platform or course management system.)
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Strong written and oral skills.
Experience with data analysis and report writing.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a directly related field such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science, etc., is preferred.
Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
