About the Position: General Manager
We are hiring a General Manager to manage one of our Wellness and Fitness Facilities in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will help build our premier location into our porfolio's most successful health club. You will manage a team that includes membership, personal training and Wellness departments.
The manager will attract business via member referrals, cold calls, lead generation telephone quiries and sales follow up. You will work closely with team members to drive new membership, personal training, and wellness sales. You will ensure your team mates execute sales quotas, customer services, systems, policies, development, facility standards, and cleanliness. Mediate and solve member issues and complaints in a timely effective manner, elevating issues when appropriate. Consistently perform all functions with the highest levels of integrity - adherence to company core values while building a positive and community-focused team.

General Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee, manage, and build a successful, results driven team
- Develop core skill sets to ensure the success of each team member and the company
- Performance and growth management of each team member and department
- Develop and execute an action plan through business strategies for each month for the team members and club
- Yearly budgeting
- Sales Quota, meet and surpass all KPI
- Manage and conduct outreach through Gymsales platform or ClubOS
- Manage all KPI reporting
- Team member operations management including time and labor management
- Disciplinary action with the oversight of the Director
- Facilities oversight and execution. Clean clubs sell memberships!
- Implement and drive a team-focused company culture
- Follow and drive company policies
- Support the community by building partnerships
Preferred Qualifications:
- A natural leader, team-focused and organized
- Positive and proactive problem solver
- Management experience with the ability to mentor, direct and develop team members
- Sales experience with professional examples of success
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Passion for fitness and being a brand ambassador
- Experience leading sales and personal training teams
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- A quick learner with the ability to apply written and oral instruction
- Skilled in operation management
- An enthusiastic, passionate, outgoing, friendly and ambitious personality
- The ability to build rapport and close sales
- Passionate, Intelligent, and Knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
- Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft suite, and an understanding of KPI and CRM reporting tools.
- Preferably 1+ years of General Manager and Personal Training Management experience
- A CPR/AED certification
- A high school diploma or GED and preferably a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Business or
- Management
- Preferably Personal Trainer certification
- Full Time Role
- Pay depends on skills and qualifications
