What you can expect as Supply Chain Inventory Manager at West Star:
This position plays a key supporting role in developing the Sales and Operations Plan and requires clear and effective communication skills that will be utilized to provide briefings and reporting pertaining to operations and purchasing. This position will focus on maintaining and improving inventory by analyzing trends and determining parts usage and recommended purchasing across all channel networks. This dynamic role will support purchasing, inventory management and supply chain efforts.

Your Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field
Your Experience
At least seven years of related work experience and progressive responsibilities preferred
Strong aptitude to solve problems and improve processes
Strong ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflict with diplomacy and partnership
Exceptional organization, attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with a minimum level of supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other MS applications

Self-motivated and able to maintain a rapid pace.

Well organized and detail oriented.
Work with others in a professional manner.
Your Responsibility
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.

You will be ESSENTIAL to the following functions:
- Responsible for creating inventory forecasts that balance supply and demand based on analysis of historical data, current trends, and marketplace insights provided from across the business.
- Set inventory min max levels that support, maximize service level, minimize inventory costs and ensure sales targets are met.
- Manage inventory price vs. price paid to capture savings on negotiated cost reductions
- Ensure organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, or other regulations.
- Develop and foster relationships with select suppliers to drive consistent performance
- Negotiate cost, lead time, minimum and economic order quantities to WSA's benefit
- Analyze and troubleshoot supplier invoicing and purchase order discrepancies
- Coordinate with buyers to ensure proper quantities are purchased to achieve strategic inventory and service level objectives.
- Collect data and calculate internal and supplier KPIs by site, project, category, buyers, and suppliers
- Other duties as assigned.
