Role
Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry Services, you will provide leadership and oversight to corporate planning and reporting, performance measurement, evaluation and enterprise risk management as well as ensure optimized shared service levels.

You will advise the seniors leadership team on complex issues related to business and operational planning, progress on departmental priorities, evidence-based decision making and effective resource allocation, public accountability and transparency.

As Executive Director you will ensure corporate service business requirements are met by leveraging strong collaboration with shared services such as information technology, human resources, legal services, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy services, accommodations and communications. You will maintain strong relationships within the Ministry, as well as with the Alberta Energy Regulator, the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission and the Office of the Auditor General.

Qualifications
Success in this role calls for a progressive leader with a background that includes significant related senior management leadership experience. You bring a strong understanding of business planning and processes including reporting and corporate services. You bring demonstrated experience understanding the energy sector, complex business issues and finding resolution as well as an ability to work effectively with complex stakeholders to manage diverse expectations and interests. A respected leader with experience leading staff, you are committed to building strong lines of communication and trust as well as empowering your teams to achieve results through performance excellence. A related degree is preferred.

Salary
$5,082.46 - $6,679.30 bi-weekly ($132,652 - $174,329 annually)
