Work Location: This position will be based at our Central or Southern BTC Bank locations.

Hours: 40 hours per week, including Saturday rotation

Duties and Responsibilities: (in addition to current role)
  • Review and analyze complex financial information to determine a borrower's creditworthiness accounts and credit and collateral deficiencies.
  • Negotiate loan participations and purchase agreements, inspect properties held for collateral, review applicable loan documents, effects settlement, and maintain files and servicing for such loans.
  • Responsible for the review and presentation of major loan requests within the defined region, as defined by board policy, with the Loan Committee, Discount Committee, and or Board of Directors for their consideration and approval or rejection.
  • Provide functional direction and supervision to the Banks' lending staff within the defined region, and review monthly Board loan reports.
  • Responsible for developing and coaching Loan Officers in the processes and procedures for application, underwriting, approval, and closing functions throughout the region.
  • Approves loans in region, within authority.
  • Adhere to loan policies and procedures with complete documented files to ensure satisfactory reviews from internal and external audits.
  • Provide general direction and supervision to regional operations.
  • Analyze operational problems and develop procedures for their resolution.
  • Establish collaborative internal partnerships to accomplish regional goals.
  • Act as a principal representative of the financial institution at civic affairs, with other companies, businesses, and government agencies.
  • Address customer concerns positively, tactfully, and diplomatically.
  • Work with all clients and prospects of varied backgrounds and experiences.
  • Present self with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all federal, state, local and industry required regulations.
  • Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients, attend training sessions, or visit other branch locations.
  • Perform current and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Agriculture, Commercial Real Estate, C&I, Mortgage, Consumer Lending, Finance and Marketing.
  • Knowledge of lending policies and procedures, including state and federal regulations.
  • Strong financial analytical and underwriting skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and train others.
  • Knowledge of loan participation and purchase agreements.
  • Knowledge of secondary marketing programs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
