Unit Description

Delaware North is the food and beverage, and retail partner at The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex since dating back to 1995. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It features exhibits and displays, historic spacecraft and memorabilia, shows, educational camps and programs, two IMAX theaters, and a range of bus tours.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for performance evaluations and ensure operations meet concession agreement requirements through detailed knowledge and compliance tracking
  • Implement and monitor deadlines, policies, and timelines to support contract requirements, and conduct random audits to maintain compliance
  • Coordinate and track timely submission of all plans and reports by managers, posting them to the NASA reporting server as required
  • Develop procedures to mitigate compliance risks and document milestones for mid-term and annual evaluations
  • Prepare presentations and reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings with NASA, serving as the liaison and subject matter expert for audits and inspections


Qualifications

  • Paralegal or law degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in contract and compliance and conducting audits and inspections.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to support compliance
  • Prior experience working in a Government Contracting environment helpful
  • Construction contract experience a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and computerized accounting systems


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule.
  • Ability to assist other areas of the Kennedy Space Center during busy times i.e. holidays and launches
