Job Description:
An ideal Vendor Implementation Project Manager for a criminal justice application should have the following qualifications and skills:

Project Management Expertise:

• Proven experience managing software implementation projects, preferably in the public sector or criminal justice domain.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and risk management.

Criminal Justice Domain Knowledge:

• Understanding of law enforcement, courts, corrections, or probation workflows.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as CJIS, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations.
• Experience working with government agencies and stakeholders.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

• Ability to coordinate between vendor teams, government agencies, and internal teams.
• Strong contract negotiation and vendor performance monitoring skills.
• Experience managing third-party software integrations.

Technical & Implementation Skills:

• Knowledge of software deployment, data migration, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
• Experience with system testing, UAT coordination, and go-live strategies.

Strong Communication & Leadership:

• Ability to manage cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and operational staff.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills for senior stakeholders.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.

Compliance & Security Awareness:

• Experience ensuring compliance with data security and privacy laws.
• Understanding of access control, role-based permissions, and secure data transfer.

Change Management & Training:

• Experience in developing user training plans and adoption strategies.
• Ability to support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions.

Work experience:

• 10 years of experience.

Domain knowledge:

• Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement preferable.

Education:

• Bachelor's in criminal justice preferable.

Able to clear background checks.
5 days at job site in Ventura, CA with travel inside Ventura to various sites for implementation / roll out.
