Description:
Role :- Controls: Advance and Expert.
Location :- Auburn Hills, MI, USA
Key Responsibilities:
Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.
Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System
Community as primary interface.
Coordinating Controls Features development.
Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns to overall program milestones
and objectives.
Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment and Risk
mitigation.
Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work
environment.
Ensure rigorous validation of control functions to meet and exceed specified requirements
throughout the vehicle development cycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other engineering units to drive the development
of cutting-edge controls technology.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in controls engineering processes, methodologies,
and technologies.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
As need to work on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a
proven record of working on his/her own initiative and within a team delivering high quality
and robust technical solutions.
Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience (2 years in automotive)
Ability to work in an Agile environment.
Previous experience as Controls/SW developer using Matlab Simulink/State Flow,
Embedded C, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus.
Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable.
Familiarity with software development tools and debugging techniques.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly.
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
