A Day in the Life of a VP/Retail Banking Center Sales Manager, who is achievement focused, is a strategic thinker and can perform quality management techniques. This position will travel occasionally and will support the Banking Center Network by working some Saturdays:
- The Vice President/Retail Banking/Bank Sales identifies market growth opportunities and implements and coaches sales and service behaviors to grow deposits and loans.
- The incumbent develops programs and sales practices in line with the Bank's Strategic plan.
- Manages loan pipeline of the branch network; Maintains thorough knowledge of sales growth strategies for deposits and loans
- Prepares complete and detailed documentation of retail banking sales and service processes and behaviors
- Reviews retail banking sales plan to increase cross sales and household growth
- Recommends changes to retail banking sales management procedures as needed
- Year over Year deposit, loan, and sales growth of 20%.
- Maintaining a cross-sales ratio of 3.5 with year-over-year improvements.
- Consistent improvement in loan, deposit, and cross sales in each branch
- Document the successful implementation of the sales and service behaviors
- Present changes to retail banking sales and service procedures are recommended in a timely manner
- Remains abreast of industry standards and makes product enhancement or recommendations to Director of Retail Banking.
- Recommend Product enhancements to remain competitive in the marketplace
- Coaches retail management in the sales process to include outbound calls, teller referrals, business development and overall sales management
Required education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of at least 15 years' experience as a manager in a branch banking office or in bank operations and Sales management and sales growth
