Description:
The Functional Architect is a key strategic team member of the Salesforce Practice and brings a strong skillset for analytical problem-solving. The Functional Architect will serve as a thought leader in the organization and be able to serve various project teams in multiple capacities. As a Functional Architect, you will provide solution design and consulting services to clients, own the architecture and build of Salesforce solutions while delivering best-in-class solutions and products using industry best practices and standards.
The Functional Architect will lead project functional development teams while utilizing advanced low-code skills on the Salesforce platform. In addition, this person will create visions and architect Salesforce solutions for clients that will drive their business outcomes to successfully achieve their goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Understand and define key audiences and business processes (current state and future state)
Lead and facilitate design, consulting, and requirements gathering sessions with clients
Analyze business and technical requirements and provide strategic recommendations and approaches in conjunction with other team leads and client stakeholders
Provide guidance and co-lead project team with other project leads
Design, oversee, and drive end-to-end architecture of Salesforce solutions in collaboration with technical counterparts, including data modeling
Translate business requirements into user stories for project team development
Pre-sales involvement where a consultant needs to gather/validate a potential client's requirements with multiple Salesforce products and complex integrations.
Work with senior client stakeholders to ensure project success, including handling escalations
Manage/oversee the deployment process
Develop a roadmap for future enhancements
Ensure professional demos are delivered within each sprint

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of Salesforce experience
- Salesforce certifications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud Consultant. FSL and CPQ Consultant certifications are a plus.
- Experience in all phases of systems development life cycle within Sales, Service and Experience Cloud implementations
- Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g. Scrum)
- Excellent executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to be onsite with clients located with their same geographic market
- When working with a client outside the geographic market, ability to travel up to 25%
