Base Job Description
Role is augmenting an existing team tasked with the development / building / population of centralized OneSource Data HUB with the long-term objective of containing all global claim information. This effort critically is about the design / governance / process of treating & managing data to gain scale of this data asset. Program is already underway - this role is about augmenting the team with Data Engineering capability to increase the velocity of delivery of product lines into the HUB as well as iterating / enhancing the HUB technology and supportability itself.
This individual will specifically be critical in working with a team downstream of the HUB in the creation of a new Data Warehouse / Marts that will be fed from the OneSource HUB allowing for substantial analytics / capabilities to be developed on top of cleansed, rationalized, global product data without sacrificing any performance. 2025 will be a busy year of adding at minimum two additional product lines to the HUB from two different source systems as well as feeding multiple downstream systems such as the new Data Warehouse with valuable / aligned claims data.

  • Significant role will be to mentor / collaborate with internal FTEs - success is raising the game of the entire team. The team is diverse in most ways, with many of the resources being in Chicago, but also globally.
  • Must be able / willing to collaborate with a remote team - work independently / dependently at the same time.
