About Cartesia
Our mission is to build the next generation of AI: ubiquitous, interactive intelligence that runs wherever you are. We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible.
Our first product is Sonic, the fastest, ultra-realistic speech generation model. Our customers use Sonic to build cutting edge voice agents (in industries as diverse as customer support and healthcare) and the next generation of digital media experiences (audiobooks, podcasts, gaming, character chat, and more).
Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences. We're funded by leading investors at Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, along with Factory, Conviction, A Star, General Catalyst, SV Angel, Databricks and others.
Role responsibilities
We're hiring our first Product Marketer to build and lead our product positioning and market expansion as we release new products and model updates. As the first PMM, you will own customer and market intelligence, developing our user personas and facilitating feedback loops to power our self-serve and enterprise motions.
In this role, you will
Conduct competitive landscape analysis and diligence, identifying market opportunities, threats, opportunities, and competitor positioning. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to craft compelling customer and prospecting messaging, translating technical capabilities and product features into compelling, accessible narratives for developers and creators alike. Own product releases, ensuring a seamless launch by effectively unifying, aligning, and communicating product updates to the internal team (Product, Growth, Sales) and external audiences (customers and prospects). Create compelling sales enablement content (pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards) to help Sales effectively position our products to different customer segments. Create engaging product marketing content to help Marketing effectively position the product for self-serve customers like creators or developers. Cultivate channels for product feedback and translate these inputs into actionable product features. Support launch of marketing campaigns across various D2C channels, including digital marketing, social media, offline, events, and email marketing. Track and analyze product analytics and marketing performance, using data to inform strategic decisions, measure feature adoption, and optimize campaign effectiveness.
You'll be on the Product team, working hand in hand with marketing and sales, directly impacting the velocity behind how we scale.
