We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join the Heat Treat Processes Team. This role requires an experienced software programmer with a strong background in manufacturing support, particularly in the development and enhancement of database-driven applications and controls systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to day-to-day operational support, application enhancements, and long-term AI-driven initiatives aimed at improving predictive maintenance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day PC and server-based updates.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Develop and enhance applications using C#, C++, and .NET.
- Update and optimize backend databases (SQL, relational database systems).
- Support new equipment integration on the production floor.
- Collaborate on AI modeling projects to develop predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Leverage SCADA systems for data analysis and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in software programming for manufacturing support (internships included).
- Proficiency in C++, C#, and .NET programming.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design and implementation.
- Experience in database-driven applications development.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with AI modeling and machine learning for predictive analytics.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial process control environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
