Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

The American centrotherm branch is based in Durham. However, most of the time they will be on customer assignments on the West Coast / California.

• Process and equipment commissioning of centrotherm systems for semiconductor technology and photovoltaics, as well as proof of contractually guaranteed specifications
• Evaluation and documentation of process data and parameters obtained during commissioning
• Process and process software training for customers
• Determination and updating of consumption values and reliability data
• Development of new processes
• Attending congresses and exhibitions
• Processing of demonstration and test wafer
• Travel will be primarily within North America, occasional travel to the manufacturing facility in Germany may be required.

Requirements:

• Completed Master's degree or comparable education (Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of semiconductor process experience) (Thermal processing preferred)
• Good analytical thinking and ability to work independently
• Interest in semiconductor technology/systems as well as interdisciplinary work
• Careful and reliable working style
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Flexible approach to changing conditions
• Strong communication skills, social competence and good teamwork skills
• Basic willingness to travel (Throughout the US and to Germany for training)
