Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Athletics and Activities Director to join our dynamic team for the 2025-2026 school year! Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic leader who is committed to ensuring that our students receive high quality athletics and activities opportunities in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. This role is responsible for ensuring programs align with district policies, promoting student participation, and fostering a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic excellence. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Administrative Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the district's athletic and extracurricular programs, ensuring compliance with state and district policies.
  • Develop and manage budgets for athletics and activities, including fundraising and sponsorships.
  • Recruit, hire, and evaluate coaches, club sponsors, and other extracurricular staff.
  • Ensure all student-athletes meet academic and eligibility requirements.
  • Schedule and organize games, tournaments, and special events, including transportation and facility management.
  • Enforce safety protocols, risk management practices, and ensure compliance with state and national athletic associations.
  • Act as a liaison between the school district, parents, and the community to promote school spirit and engagement.
