Description
JOB GOAL
Lead enrollment management and student services functions in pursuit of PHSC's mission, vision, goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the President in the administrative functions of the college. Optimizes and executes the enrollment management functions of the college: student recruitment, admissions, registrar, testing services and information center. Strategizes and leads the student activities and services functions of the college: athletics, student accessibility services, academic advising, mental health and wellness, career services, student life and leadership, student discipline and veteran affairs. Leads the creation, implementation and continuous improvement of the college's enrollment management plan. Recommends policies and procedures to the President for managing the institution more effectively and efficiently. Prepares appropriate federal, state, legislative and other reports. Provides assistance to the college's liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and Higher Learning Commission (HLC) with college-level accreditation activities. Represents the college on councils, committees and other organizations related to areas of responsibility. Chairs the college's Council for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. In collaboration with the Vice-President, Academic Affairs monitors the activities of the state-wide Articulation Coordinating Committee and participates as needed. Serves as a member of the President's Cabinet. Serves on the President's Administrative Leadership Team (PALT). Prepares and maintains appropriate budgets. Collaborates with other Vice Presidents on all appropriate matters. Serves on other committees as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years in a management or administrative position in an educational institution.
- An earned master's degree and actively working on attaining a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Three years of full-time experience working at a college or university in one of the areas supervised by this position.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of constituencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent relational, organizational and leadership skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
