Your mission

We are looking for a Director of Sales/ Business Development for the North Americas region. The Ideal candidate will sell our Asset Exchange services (In- and Out-licensing support) and will drive the out-reach and licensing discussions of products originating from these
Asset Exchange Services

This position will require you to travel for business and have a high degree of built-in decision making and accountability.

Our company and its subsidiaries operate from different sites worldwide, including Germany,
Switzerland, India, and the USA. This means you'll be able to directly contribute to high-leverage activities and interact with people from different backgrounds and regions.

Your Responsibilities
Identify key stakeholders in Pharma, Biotech companies and build relationships to pitch Partex Asset Exchange Services and products originating from these services
Sell our Asset Exchange service
Negotiate term sheets with third parties for products originating from our Out- and In-licensing service collaborations
As an upside he/she might also sell other services from the Partex group
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
Identify and target new business opportunities and market segments.
Create and manage sales forecasts and performance metrics
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Lead efforts to close high-value deals and manage key accounts.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.

Your profile
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in BD
Education: Bachelor's / Master's/PhD Degree preferably in a Scientific or Medical field ideally combined with either a Business, Marketing, or Communications degree or the corresponding experience in the field.
Industry Knowledge: Strong background in life sciences and familiarity with industry- specific sales cycles and processes.
BD/Sales Expertise: Proven track record of closing BD deals, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets. A good network in the Pharma/Biotech field.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions and business needs.
Self-motivation: Highly self-motivated and able to work independently without a team.
