Responsibilities: The Scrum Master is a key part of the 9th District's Agile delivery model.. The Scrum Master oversees the day-to-day work of the DevSecOps team by providing leadership, direction, facilitation, and coaching to the team and its product owners.. Plans, leads, organizes, and motivates one or more cross-functional DevSecOps teams of medium to high complexity.. Coordinates and facilitates sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, and retrospectives.. Works with Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.. Coaches the team to self-organization by building a culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement.. Acts as a primary communication hub between functional departments and the team to foresee risks, formulate plans, and organize activities to ensure sprints are completed on time.. Ensures efficient communication between the team and the Product Owners.. Guards the team from external requests and disruptions.. Acts as a change agent and adapts processes to maximize productivity of the team.. Drives development of release and sprint roadmaps.. Removes impediments for the team.. Partners with project and release managers in production deployment activities.. Develops metric reports on project status, schedule, and agile metrics such as velocity and cycle time.. Performs other duties as assigned..Responds to requests for information, including developing complex ad-hoc reports and queries in databases and/or management information systems.Provides analytic support to department management for business planning and decision-making.Develops and revises procedures, defines processes, and provides training for users.Serves as a liaison and coordinates business application enhancements and/or software updates with Department, Bank, FRS, and/or federal agency staff.Serves as a primary contact for resolving user support issues to ensure efficient operations.Participates in and/or leads department and FRS information systems and related projects. Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions. Comments/Special Instructions Position is Hybrid (1 day onsite, but this can change). Candidates must be in compliance with the bank Covid policy.
