Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Site Specialist to join our team and oversee the effective operation and optimization of IT systems at our site. This role primarily focuses on SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) and other enterprise technologies critical to our operations. The Site Specialist will act as the key liaison for SAP-related inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting the integration and maintenance of various business applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP systems, alongside a strong understanding of IT operations and business requirements.

This is a critical role that requires a combination of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
SAP System Support & Management:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAP-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
o Provide continuous monitoring and performance optimization for SAP systems, including addressing system inefficiencies and ensuring seamless integration with other business technologies.
o Collaborate with business units to gather detailed requirements, customize and configure SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD) to meet business-specific needs and drive operational efficiency.
o Develop and deliver targeted user training and create comprehensive user manuals to ensure effective use of SAP functionalities across the organization.
o Ensure that SAP system processes comply with best practices, organizational policies, and regulatory standards.
System Integration & Maintenance:
o Work in close coordination with IT teams and external vendors to integrate SAP with other enterprise solutions (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRMS, etc.), enhancing overall system performance and data flow.
o Oversee regular updates, patches, and system upgrades to ensure that SAP systems remain secure, reliable, and in alignment with organizational goals.
o Manage system configurations and perform troubleshooting in both SAP and non SAP environments to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
o Ensure system uptime by executing preventive maintenance and conducting regular backups and testing.
Technical Support & Issue Resolution:
o Provide day-to-day technical support for end-users and internal teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues across SAP and other integrated systems.
o Diagnose and address technical problems related to system performance, data discrepancies, and user functionality within SAP and other related platforms.
o Provide timely escalation of critical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary to ensure minimal impact on business operations.
o Offer ongoing guidance and assistance to staff in overcoming system challenges while ensuring optimal functionality.
Project Support & Implementation:
o Play an integral role in the planning, implementation, and rollout of SAP and other technology-based projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and performance expectations.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including business analysts, developers, and project managers) to execute new system implementations and upgrades.
o Support the management of new technology deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations and effective training for end-users.
o Contribute to the strategic planning of future technology projects, offering insights on how SAP and other platforms can be leveraged to streamline business operations and improve overall productivity.
Collaboration & Reporting:
o Work closely with department heads, business stakeholders, and IT teams to identify areas where SAP and other technologies can enhance business processes, reduce inefficiencies, and drive innovation.
o Generate and deliver detailed reports regarding system performance, issue resolution status, project progress, and other relevant metrics.
o Provide recommendations and insights based on data analysis to help improve systems, processes, and overall service delivery.
o Ensure all technology-related activities are aligned with company goals and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
Education: Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees in relevant disciplines are a plus.
Experience:
o Extensive experience in SAP system administration and support, with a proven track record of troubleshooting, customization, and integration.
o Hands-on experience with various SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA) and enterprise technology solutions.
o A minimum of [X] years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar technical support role, preferably within a large, complex business environment.
o Previous involvement in full-cycle SAP implementations or upgrades is strongly preferred.

Certifications (Preferred but not Required):
o SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) or similar qualifications.
o ITIL or other IT service management certifications.
o Certifications in other enterprise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) are advantageous.
