Overview:
We are looking for an SAP Financials Implementation Consultant with 3-5 years of experience to lead and support full-cycle implementations and enhancements for a client of ours. This role focuses on gathering requirements, configuring SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) modules, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial processes and a proven track record in SAP implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-Cycle Implementations: Lead and/or support project phases including blueprint, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live activities for SAP Financials.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, analyze current processes, and propose SAP-based solutions.
  • Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP FI/CO modules (e.g., General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting) based on agreed requirements and best practices.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Supply Chain, Sales) to ensure seamless integration between SAP Financials and other SAP or third-party modules.
  • Data Migration & Validation: Assist in planning and executing data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Validate migrated data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop and execute test plans, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide resolution for any system or process-related issues.
  • User Training & Support: Create training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to end users. Provide post-go-live support and ongoing maintenance.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, process flows, and project deliverables.


Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Financials implementations, particularly in FI/CO modules.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of key SAP FI/CO components (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost/Profit Center Accounting).
    • Familiarity with integration points across SAP modules (SD, MM, PP).
    • Basic understanding of ABAP or debugging skills is a plus, but not required.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
