Location: Remote

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside near one of our office locations.

As a Senior Event Manager, you will own the execution of our highest-tier events, from inception through post-event analysis. You will work closely with senior leadership, marketing teams, and key stakeholders to ensure events deliver measurable results and contribute to our business goals.

This role is designed for someone with a proven ability to lead full-cycle events, ensuring that planning, execution, and follow-up are aligned with strategic objectives. You will influence event strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage vendors to deliver a seamless experience. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in executing events that move the business forward and exceed expectations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Full-Cycle Event Execution: Own the end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact events, ensuring on-time delivery, aligned objectives, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Drive Event Strategy: Partner with marketing leadership and business teams to define clear event goals, develop strategic plans, and ensure event impact aligns with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Global Marketing, Industry, and Partner teams, to ensure event objectives are met, and all teams are aligned.
  • Influence Stakeholders: Consult with internal stakeholders to understand goals, offer strategic recommendations, and maintain alignment across all event aspects.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of vendors, ensuring high-quality service while staying within budget.
  • Optimize Budgets & Timelines: Own the event budget, track expenses, and proactively manage timelines to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Analyze & Report Outcomes: Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and share insights to assess event effectiveness, applying learnings to improve future events.
  • Maintain Brand Integrity: Ensure events reflect Slalom's brand, values, and culture, delivering a cohesive and memorable experience for all stakeholders.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Continuously refine event planning and execution processes to scale events more efficiently and enhance their impact.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in event management, project management, or marketing, with a proven track record in delivering complex, high-profile events.
  • Expertise in in-person event execution, with a deep understanding of logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decisions and align cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and overseeing vendor relationships.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve problems creatively and under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing events.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stakes events with confidence.
  • Travel onsite to events up to 40% annually.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $115,000 to $155,0000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
