Business Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a prestigious national law firm in Orlando, Florida.
This firm is looking for a highly motivated associate with 2-4 years of business litigation experience to join its Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Conduct and manage written and document discovery.
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Conduct and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Appear for status conferences and argue motions in court.
• Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 2-4 years of business litigation experience, including in state and federal courts.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with client and partner interaction in a sophisticated practice.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional work ethic.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $240,000 - $310,000 annually (based on experience and other job-related factors).
