Description:

The Associate Vice President of Ambulatory Strategic Alignment is responsible for advancing patient safety initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all ambulatory settings with Temple University Health System. The AVP is responsible for project management and progression of ambulatory strategic goals for the medical group. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning expertise, and a deep commitment to patient-centered, high quality, and cost-effective care.

Education
Bachelors Degree: Education, Organizational Change or Clinical Area of Expertise (Required)
Masters Degree: Nursing, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Change or other related area (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
10 years of progressive leadership experience in ambulatory care, outpatient services, and/or healthcare administration. (Required)
10 Years experience in managing process improvement systems in a health care environment or a related clinical role. (Required)
General Experience and knowledge of performance improvement methods such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Six Sigma, Rapid Cycle PDSA, GAP Analysis, Reengineering and informatics (Required)
Experience in navigating large, multidisciplinary teams and complex healthcare systems. (Required)
Proven track record of leading performance improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results. (Required)
General Experience in and knowledge of regulatory and accrediting bodies, regulations and standards (Required)

License/Certifications
LSSBB - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred)
CPHQ - Cert Prof Healthcare Quality (Preferred)
