Systems Engineer - Level III
Analyzes functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities. Should provide identification/fixing for the problems within existing systems design/implementation of new systems, enhances the existing systems and participates in analysis, design and new construction of next generation IT systems. Responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and the realities of commercially available IT products, and creating requirements that will allow implementation by the architecture and engineering team and COTS products. Must possess experience of system engineering in one or more areas including telecommunications concepts, computer languages, operating systems, database/DBMS and middleware.

Must possess experience of system engineering in one or more areas including telecommunications concepts, computer languages, operating systems, database/DBMS and middleware.
Essential Job Functions/Qualifications:
- Java container Administration - Preferably Web Logic or tomcat variant.
- Performing ear/war file deployment in any of the Java products.
- TIBCO, MQ, Postfix and Oracle database knowledge needed to track various messages and troubleshoot.
- Networking knowledge, TCP/IP understanding, troubleshooting skills needed.
- Scripting bash, ksh or perl.
- Startup/Shutdown, verifying logs for application/system/network issues and tracking them across different components and troubleshooting them.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of SQLPLUS, queries/commands in Oracle databases.
- Unix Administration Knowledge is helpful in troubleshooting various application issues. AIX or Solaris or RedHat are desired.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
