Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment Associate to join a highly regarded law firm in California.
We have an immediate opening for an associate with 2-5 years of employment law experience to join a collaborative and well-established team. This role offers hands-on litigation experience, client advisory work, and excellent career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Defend employers in complex class, collective, and representative actions, as well as single-plaintiff wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits.
• Advise employers on a wide range of employment law issues.
• Conduct workplace investigations and training programs.
• Research and draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation and/or counseling.
• Candidates with strong litigation experience and an interest in employment law are encouraged to apply.
• Admission to the California Bar is required.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Location & Compensation:

• This position is available in Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento, or San Francisco.
• Salary range: $175,000 - $210,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Associates are eligible for various annual bonuses, including a 15% bonus of base compensation for meeting 1,850 annual billable hours (up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work included).
