- Manage and oversee the audit process for labor unions remotely.
- Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with union leadership to develop strategies for financial improvement.
- Ensure that all audit activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Provide training and support to union staff on financial best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Experience with Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) auditing.
- Strong understanding of labor union operations and regulations is preferred.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
