Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP's ElectronicWarfare group is seeking a motivated software engineer to support the Finderprogram. Finder is a modern ELINT signalprocessing application deployed across a variety of naval reconnaissanceplatforms. Finder is constantly evolvingto meet ever-changing EW threats as well as the operational needs of thecustomer. The role will consistprimarily of developing enhancements, troubleshooting, maintenance, andtesting. Occasional travel to customer sites isexpected to support software installation, integration, troubleshooting, testing,and operator training.
In addition to softwaredevelopment, other responsibilities include:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related role.
Nice to have:

In addition to softwaredevelopment, other responsibilities include:
- Attending both internal and customer facing meetings.
- Document existing and new software architecture.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Adhere to coding standards.
- Develop test plans and perform software testing and validation.
- Generate and deliver presentations on work related topics.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related role.
Nice to have:
- Strong proficiency withC++ and Linux.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of systems software design, operating systems, computer architecture, and networking.
- Experience with GUI development (some level of GUI development will be required).
- Experience integrating with third party libraries for API, GUI, and communications. Specifically: QT, Protobufs, ZMQ or similar.
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and associated development tools (git, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc).
- Experience with software architecture modeling (class/sequence/data flow diagrams, etc).
- Exposure to Java, Python, and web-services are a plus.
