Conceptualize, design, and develop SATCOM systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will influence aerospace electronics design directions and methodology developments. As an systems & reliability engineering technical expert, you will leverage advanced tools and simulation techniques to deliver high impact business results.
  • Reliability Engineering roles and responsibilities:
    • Conduct FMEA and FTA verifying System Safety requirements.
    • Perform Parts Stress Analysis and Reliability Predictions of circuit card assemblies utilizing the Honeywell In-Service Reliability Assessment Plan (HIRAP), HDBK-217Plus and Mil-HDBK 217.
    • Produce plans and conduct Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) activities.
    • Author system documentation required for system certification and aircraft integration such as Preliminary System Safety Assessment, System Safety Assessment and Single Upset Event.
    • Review customer requirements and provide inputs to ensure compliance to reliability goals.
  • Systems Design roles and responsibilities:
    • Developing systems requirement, architecture, completing design, analyses, and design verification testing.
    • Apply Engineering knowledge, tools and principles to develop SATCOM Systems to RTCA DAL D and DAL E requirements. Involved in every aspect of the system life cycle from initiation to delivery and support.
    • Support system integration activities such as qualification tests, coordinating build and test of engineering hardware for functionality and requirements verification.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering role
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in design for Reliability, Maintainability and System Safety


WE VALUE
  • Working knowledge of digital and RF circuits and topologies used in aerospace products such as but not limited to Discrete I/O, controllers, low voltage power supply, digital and small signal analog.
  • Knowledge of the guidelines and objectives of DO-160 and DO-254 pertaining to the design, development, verification, and certification of electronic airborne.
  • Experience in designing equipment from concept, product development, testing and mass production.
  • Demonstrable successful experience in the execution of detailed design verification & product validation test plans.
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and to work with little supervision.
