Position Overview
Lead Developer (Java)
Requirements:
- Responsible for design, development, deployment & support of the products he/she own.
- Make right technology decisions for the team.
- Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
- Work as a member of an Agile Software Development Team to help implement new functionality based on business requirements.
- Interact with the Business and Customer Experiences teams, facilitate working through technical implementation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant field of study.
- 10+ years of prior experience Java/J2EE technology.
- 2+ years in Cloud Platforms - AWS or GCP or Azure.
- 5+ years' experience with software development methodologies, 4D, Agile Scrum/Kanban.
- 6+ years working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Linux, Unix and Windows.
- Extensive knowledge of management theory and practical applications in the workplace.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same.
