Position Highlights:
- Position: Registered Nurse
- Hourly Pay Range: $34.68 - $55.15. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $36 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks
- Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Full Time: 36 hours per week
- Hours: Day/Night rotation, w/ rotating weekends
What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: BSN degree preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience required
What you will do:
- The nurse will care for complex cardiac and vascular patient populations including post open heart surgery, mechanical supportive devices (i.e. ECMO, intra-aortic balloon pump, left ventricular assist devices, Impella), advanced heart failure, and vascular surgeries requiring critical care management
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
