Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a nationally recognized Infrastructure Group in California.
We have an immediate opening for an associate with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join a top-tier firm specializing in claims related to large public transportation, water, social, and resiliency projects. This role offers hands-on experience with high-profile cases and strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle construction-related claims and disputes.
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, briefs, and motions for arbitration, state, and federal court.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team on complex litigation matters.
- 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably with construction claims.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- eDiscovery experience is preferred.
- Admission to the California Bar is required.
- This position is available in Los Angeles or San Francisco.
- Salary range: $175,000 - $195,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Associates are eligible for various annual bonuses, including a 15% bonus of base compensation for meeting 1,850 annual billable hours (up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work included).
