JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for managing implementing and auditing complex transactional and procedural activities supporting ongoing Human Resource Management System (HRMS) operations and projects.
- Configures data tables, develops queries, prepares, and analyzes informational data obtained from databases.
- Responsible for all HRMS security authorizations and system support.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Serves as main point of contact for all HRMS transactional and procedural activities. Responsible for maintaining HRMS systems in support of human resource administrative activities and projects. Provides specialized support for human resource-related operations and manages daily HRMS support activities for human resources, including the maintenance of employee information.
- Manages the processing of organizational change announcements and other large-scale human resource transactions by determining necessary system data changes. Collaborates with other functions both internal and external to HR to develop work plans to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Authorizes HRMS security authorization requests. Conducts and monitors auditing and reporting processes such as SOX, separation of duties, operational audits etc. *Monitors human resource information needs and develops new or modifies existing systems (queries) to meet changing requirements. Interprets customer requirements, extracts organizational data from transactional databases and produces metrics and reports for management review. Prepares statistical summaries and special reports from HRMS involving employee demographic data, compensation data, benefit information, payroll information, and other employee records.
- Applies functional knowledge to configure and update HRMS data and base tables (e.g. company business units, departments, and locations).
- Supervision *Performs work under the supervision of a Manager or Director.
Educational Requirement:
- Education Level Field of Study Required/Preferred Bachelor's Degree Emphasis in business administration, human resources, computer science, or related area.
Preferred Required Experience:
- 7 years of experience, including four years of experience with PeopleSoft HRMS.
- Experience with general human resource administration and operations, and/or payroll operations Preferred Experience.
- Experience in HRMS implementation, support, and/or operations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated solid analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects/work initiatives at one time.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management).
- Demonstrated knowledge of human resource management systems (HRMS), including workforce administration, position management, base table configuration, department trees, security and query.
- Demonstrated ability to work under routine pressure and with highly confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of internal and external company leadership.
- Solid working knowledge of report writer tools (e.g. SQL, PeopleSoft Query).
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
