Cornelis Networks is hiring a Manager of Architecture-a senior leader, overseeing a highly skilled team of architects responsible for defining the technical vision and system-level design of our next-generation networking products. Working closely with the CTO to guide strategic technical direction, the Manager of Architecture will orchestrate cross-functional efforts-collaborating with marketing, competitive analysis, product management, and engineering teams-to ensure our solutions meet exacting performance, scalability, and feature requirements for the AI and HPC markets.

Strategic Architecture Leadership Technical Direction & Innovation Team Management & Development Collaboration with the CTO & Cross-Functional Teams
Location: This role fully supports remote work for employees residing within the United States, with the flexibility to travel to our Chesterbrook Corporate Center located in Wayne, PA occasionally for in-person collaboration.

Your base pay will be determined by factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location relative to the hiring range for the position. Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and articulate the long-term architectural vision for high-performance networking solutions, including upcoming CN7000 1.6T switches and Host Fabric Interfaces.
- Drive architectural decisions around multi-protocol support (Omni-Path, Ultra Ethernet, Converged Ethernet, Ultra Accelerator Link) to address emerging AI/HPC workload requirements.
- Maintain and evolve system-level architecture documentation, ensuring alignment with market demands and overarching company strategy.
- Oversee design choices for advanced features such as RISC-V-based acceleration, hardware security, AI/ML optimizations, and modular system design (NoC, fabric accelerators, and protocol stacks).
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, conducting design reviews and risk assessments to validate architectural integrity and performance goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to anticipate future architecture needs and maintain a competitive edge.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of system architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Establish best practices for architectural development, documentation, and knowledge sharing across hardware and software domains.
- Manage resource allocation and prioritize initiatives to ensure on-time delivery of architecture milestones for current (CN5000/6000) and future (CN7000) products.
- Partner with the CTO to align on strategic technical direction and ensure architecture plans support long-term company objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Competitive Analysis teams to position architectural differentiators in the marketplace and respond to emerging competitive threats.
- Work closely with Product Management to translate market and customer requirements into architectural features and product roadmaps.
- Engage with select customers on advanced technical requirements, incorporating feedback into architecture development and product planning.
