Job Description:
- The Family Medicine Residency Program is fully accredited and takes place in a community hospital setting.
- The program emphasizes a supportive resident-centered atmosphere to provide excellent care for a high-needs patient population.
- Diverse faculty enables residents to provide comprehensive outpatient care, including management of complex diseases, addiction, HIV/viral hepatitis, women's health, point-of-care ultrasound, osteopathic manipulation, and various procedures.
- As the sole residency program on-site, participants develop ownership over a culturally-diverse inpatient population.
- Residents forge personal relationships with specialists and conduct numerous procedures in intensive care, labor and delivery, inpatient medicine, and various subspecialties.
- Supported by excellent mentorship, residents refine unique interests and plan career trajectories.
- The program has a robust history, established in 1977, and provides comprehensive training including obstetrics.
- Leadership consists of the Program Director and two Associate Directors, with the Program Director overseeing both clinical and supervisory roles.
- This role requires 100% on-site presence and is not open to hybrid or remote work.
- The position offers health, dental, and vision insurance along with paid malpractice coverage.
- Additional benefits include CME time and expense allowance, paid time away from practice, and a retirement savings program with employer matching.
- Relocation allowance and retention bonuses are included for qualified candidates, with specifics discussed during the interview process.
