We are hiring for positions on an upcoming effort at Adelphi, MD in support of the U.S. Army Defensive Cyber Solutions Branch of the Army Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR). This position will lead the development of Level of Effort (LOE) analyses and cost models, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation to support program objectives.

The CSSP Finance Officer will be responsible to ensure all financial aspects of the program are meticulously planned, managed, and accounted for throughout the fiscal year, maintaining alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements. The Finance Officer will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager and Government stakeholders to develop and refine the strategic financial roadmap for the program. The Finance Officer also works closely with the Project Managers to ensure that all project-related costs align with established budgets, proactively addressing any discrepancies or budgetary concerns.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Defensive Cyber Team. Duties include:
Assessing the impact of strategic initiatives on overall spending and costs, ensuring long-term financial sustainability
Monitoring and tracking the progress of funding received from CSSP subscribers, ensuring accurate accounting and timely collection
Overseeing and tracking all program-related expenses, including contracting, labor, hardware, software, operational costs, overhead, travel, and purchase cards, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
Developing, maintaining, revising, and integrating program and project budgets.
Measuring performance against financial benchmarks and derive actual costs to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Identifying potential financial risk areas and effectively communicate risks through comprehensive written and oral reports, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate them.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
Requires Bachelors Degree (related field preferred)
Requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
An ideal candidate will have experience working with auditors, conducting thorough reviews of cost and performance data against schedules, and applying standard earned value management techniques to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Requires Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
