This position conducts work directly related to management or general business operations in an organization or functional area. The work requires advanced knowledge gained from a prolonged course of specialized instruction, experience, and expertise. The position includes work requiring the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a small to medium sized maintenance contract and/or Small Capital projects and/or less complex sites/projects within the Operations & Maintenance Function.
Assist in maintaining client relationships by regular communication to better understand project operations, this communication should; appraise of Fluor activities, advise of potential improvements, assess changing needs, develop teamwork, and ask for client feedback on
performance
Act as the first line of contact to the Client Plant Manager by conducting quarterly interviews and maintaining close client relationships
Fulfill contract and Operating System Requirements (OSR)/Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented, and followed by the Fluor team
Monitor risk as assigned by director of operations by reviewing risk on a regular basis and identifying significant business risk for Fluor; responsible for profit and loss of the site
Identify future client requirements and up-selling opportunities by developing on-site assessments of client operations and proposing project plans
Apply appropriate analytical tools and techniques in by assessing client organizations, acquiring
client engagements with significant profitability potential and transforming the client organization from the current state to the proposed future state
Assist in the development and adherence to Site Business Plan (SBP) by monitoring budgets,
performance and utilization, and providing periodic reporting for the respective site
Support sales efforts by assisting in sales presentations, estimates, and proposals including negotiating commercial terms
Achieve business goals by hiring qualified candidates, communicating job expectations. Approving performance appraisals; conducting salary administration, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
Typically degreed, preferably in engineering or business field of study with minimum six (6) years of O&M office or site experience and minimum one (1) year experience managing small to medium somewhat complex O&M sites or projects
Typically has minimum six (6) years of progressive construction and technical experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Previous project management experience
Ability to delegate

Other Job Requirements
Perform on-boarding of new hires on systems and required work with-in the Site Programs
Support the sites Innovation Culture in collaboration with all other functional site leads (IC&M/Procurement/Project Controls/Safety/Operations). This will include but not be limited to:
i. Promote the gathering of Site Innovations so they may be documented and entered in O.C.S. and updated in the Sites On-going Innovation Report.
ii. Support driving our Innovation Culture in the field through observation / feedback programs with craft
iii. Support any identified test pilots or methods associated with proposed field innovations
Support Site Updates:
Provide construction interface with plant personnel to develop downtimes and construction work areas
Promote the importance of safety. This will include but not be limited to:
i. Maintain and develop an active safety Culture with participation from Craft, Subcontractor, Owners, HSE, and Senior Management
ii. Ensuring High Quality Safety Assessment is performed monthly.
iii. Managing expectation of all site-specific permits are thoroughly understood by trade partners and are being issued properly
iv. Support project teams with the development of safety requirements with-in master project schedules
v. Coordinate and schedule the timing for site orientations with LCS Safety when bringing new hires and/or contractors on site
Monitor the work in the field. Make frequent daily walks in the field to review, monitor, and evaluate the contractor's progress, performance, quality and compliance to the site safety rules, specific requirements, and procedures.
Approve T&M timesheets. Verify that the work was performed that day and ensure contractors are using the correct WBS numbers. Timesheets used by all contractors are to be the Site Standard Timesheet or previously approved documents.
Maintain a good set of project files and keep all documentation stored with-in the sites established document control process.
Keep work area clean, neat and organized. Adhere to zone ownership rules
Adhere to site security policies
Adhere to site standards and policies
