We have an opportunity for a Director of Corporate Sales & Business Development.

The Director will support a team of Account Executives located throughout the U.S. to maximize new corporate business sales, achieve significant growth within existing accounts, and develop Account Executives to become large enterprise sellers

Responsibilities
  • Support Account Executives in strategic account targeting and planning
  • Ensure the Account Executive team is fully empowered to manage and drive their own success, supporting in a positive manner.
  • Provide strategic sales expertise while directly engaging with prospects and clients.
  • Be familiar with corporate and enterprise strategic selling strategies and effectively incorporate those strategies within the sales process.
  • Forecast future revenue by understanding sales opportunities and pipeline progression.
  • Anticipate potential questions, objections, and/or roadblocks, as well as additional client needs and their corresponding O.C. Tanner solutions.
  • Play an active role in the Account Executive hiring process.
  • Represent Account Executives as a team within O.C. Tanner
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors and Area Vice Presidents on opportunity strategy
  • Collaborate with sales training and development on Account Executive training and development plans
  • Collaborate with client success and other internal organizations
  • Reporting to Vice President of Outside Sales, North America


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience leading technology-focused sales teams with a proven record of success.
  • Strong understanding of strategic sales cycles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology sales techniques and strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Salesforce reporting and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

Salt Lake City or Remote- The travel expectation is 10-15%
