Senior Business Analyst

ASSYST is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our government client based in Austin, TX.
The Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Mondays) - Hybrid. The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.

Duties and responsibilities:

• This position will work on a web-based Power Apps platform-based application that is used by internal client agency staff and external partners to intake information from over 1,500 users, which is then processed as part of detailed agency-wide analysis.
• This position will perform the duties of a Business Analyst that include collaboration with the delivery teams and application users to gather requirements, perform detailed analysis of requirements to develop requirements and design for required system modifications, complete business requirement documents, user stories, and business area collaboration and/or coordination.
• Will also work with technical teams to coordinate demos, UAT, code releases, project/product management level planning, and user communication as necessary. Must have experience working in an Agile environment.
• Some on-call support may be required depending on the project phase.

Required experience:

• Business Analyst Experience
• SQL Experience
• System Reporting (Oracle, SQL)
• Systems Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)
• Agile Software Development Methodologies Experience
• Project and/or Product Management Experience
• Experience with Jira
