Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:30-16:00
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Must be state licensed in New Hampshire
Certifications: RCIS within 1 year of hire, ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: Cath lab experience for travel staff
Job Description:
- Work in a specialized cardiac catheterization lab assisting with procedures such as cardiac caths, PCI, STEMI, peripheral angiograms & interventions, and more.
- Participate in implanting procedures such as PPM/ICD/CRT-D, EP studies & ablations.
- Document procedures using the Meditech system.
- Operate equipment including the GE x-ray system and GE hemodynamics.
- Work a 5-day week schedule with 8-hour days and up to 10 on-call days per month.
- Be ready for possible floating if no cases are scheduled, though this is rare.
- Benefit from scrubs provided by the workplace.
- Collaborate with a team that includes a unit coordinator, registered nurses, and fellow techs.
- Engage in patient care, with teams comprised of 3 individuals per patient in procedural rooms and support roles in holding as needed.
- Comply with the dress code and adhere to safety and procedural protocols.
