Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's financial and other systems (e.g. ERP, Hyperion Essbase, Workiva, Winshuttle).
  • Assist preparation and maintenance of the company Financial Statements, as well as SAP BI and Hyperion Essbase Reports.
  • Oversee systems integration across different financial applications and ensure proper data interfacing
  • Assist with the Internal and External Audits, Company Projects as well as other internal and external engagements.
  • Actively engage in monthly close process for corporate center and companywide consolidation.
  • Assist with company's Budgets, Forecasts and Strategic Plans
  • Assist with the analysis of company and product line results, including engagement with Business Unit leadership to gain an understanding of underlying reasons for financial results.
  • Coordinate with Titan America's FP&A departments to ensure consistency of financial reporting, key performance indicators, and financial performance measures.
  • Act as a liaison between the Information Technology and the Finance departments, and provide insight on system changes and design
  • Contribute to the development of solutions for identified inconsistencies and the identification of best practices.
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency through systems improvements and automation.
  • Educate and train team members on procedures, processes, and tools for reviewing and interpreting financial data as well as prepare training documentation.
  • Provide insight on the development of system upgrades or redesign.
  • Understand the business strategy and work with end users to develop business/user requirements.
  • Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent capability, required.
  • Minimum 5 years in a Financial Systems role
  • CPA, CMA certification, or equivalent capability, preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel, required. Data Analysis experience, knowledge of SAP and Hyperion, a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under time constraints with a large and diverse group of internal customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proactive can-do attitude and demonstrated experience working within a team environment.
