The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $92K-$138K, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.

- Hours: Monday-Friday; 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Downers Grove, IL
- Travel: In office as needed.

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for architecting, implementing and supporting Duly Clinical and Administrative office(s) systems infrastructure for critical reliability and maximum uptime. This role will serve as a systems expert and responsibilities will entail recommending and supporting the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of Duly's compute and storage technologies.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
Under direct supervision of Information Technology leadership, the Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
- Design, implement and maintain (break/fix) all compute and storage technologies including Cisco UCS/HyperFlex, VMware, Citrix, Windows, Azure, AWS and NetApp (70%)
- Establish and maintain the physical and logical architecture of all components
- Perform Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, ADFS Administration
- Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and troubleshooting issues within a multi-vendor, multi-site infrastructured.
- Ensure system fail-over capabilities between critical operational components and data centers
- Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop environments
- Public Cloud Administration (Azure, AWS, IBM)
- Azure IAAS, Server/Network/Storage Buildout, Automation and Maintenance
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Entra Connect Sync/Cloud Sync
- Azure IAAS and Azure Virtual Desktop capacity planning and cost control
- Create and maintain documentation on process/procedure related to systems design, monitoring, security, and disaster recovery (10%)
- Ensure all compute and storage topology, technology solutions, team and individual workflow is documented and updated regularly
- Establish and maintain technical standards and configurations
- Document and perform change requests/management as necessary
- Establish, monitor, evaluate, and report key performance and key risk indicators (KPIs and KRIs) to provide leadership with visibility into the effectiveness and health of Systems Infrastructure (10%)
- Monitors systems operations to identify performance and capacity issues
- Identifies utilization and performance issues
- Develops plans and implements new technologies and services to satisfy capacity and performance requirements
- Leadership Responsibilities (10%)
- Provide technical guidance or training to mid-level and junior staff
- Handle escalations, resolve issues for mid-level and junior staff
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Field of Study in Business, Information Systems, or related field Years of Experience
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience administering complex systems environments
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (2012 and newer)
- Active Directory Forests, Domains, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units
- Windows Security Patching Solutions such as WSUS, Ivanti, IBM Big Fix
- Windows Scripting and Automation including but not limited to Windows PowerShell
- 5+ years of experience
- Public Cloud Administration (Azure, AWS, IBM)
- VMware vSphere (6.x and newer)
- Microsoft Exchange Hybrid and/or Exchange Online
- Enterprise Storage Solutions (NetApp, Dell/EMC, VMWare vSAN, Cisco Hyperflex)
- Enterprise Backup Solutions (Rubrik, Cohesity, Dell/EMC)
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 Applications and Toolsets
- Deep expertise with Azure IAAS, Server/Network/Storage Buildout, Automation and Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of VDI/DaaS (Azure AVD)
License / Registration / Certification
- Microsoft Certification required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus
- Issued by (Governing Body)
