RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deliver training courses for computer software applications.
- Analyze the skills needed to perform different roles, and identify gaps between current and desired skill levels
- Create a curriculum that addresses the training needs of individuals or organization
- Prepare teaching materials and create training manuals
- Present information, facilitating discussions, and managing group dynamics
- Analyze employee performance and create reports for the company
- Offer guidance and support to learners
- Ensure that training materials are current and comply with industry standards
- Make use of new technologies like video conferencing or distance learning
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with delivery of training for Microsoft 365, including Teams Phone.
- Proven work experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer or similar role
- Experience designing technical course material
- Familiarity with web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
- Good understanding of corporate computer security principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms plainly
- Additional certification in training (e.g. Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus
- Preferred knowledge and experience in training for Insurance industry applications.
