The Supply Chain Manager will be managing the sourcing strategy and implementation of the Semi cabin for 100+ stamping parts and assemblies, in which they will be responsible for introducing our supplier partners with the right capacity and technological capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated
  • We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to support our Structure Engineering teams & supplier partners in Direct Supply Chain components & parts sourcing
  • Fully own the commercial relationship with supplier partners and responsible for price negotiation, continuity of supply and risk mitigation
  • Continuously drive cost efficiency through commercial contract negotiation, VAVE (Value-Analysis and Value Engineering) initiatives and design changes
  • Monitor global industry trends, track technology roadmap, and actively partner with the Design Engineering teams to introduce the optimal material, manufacturing process and technologies
  • Effectively communicating with Tesla's Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering stakeholders, as well as operations, supply quality engineers to ensure the successful launch of new vehicles


Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management associated to metal stamping
  • Technical and commercial understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes on metal forming is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

      $82,800 - $151,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
