Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer (Terraform)
MUST HAVE:
Azure, Terraform, Compute, Storage, Security, Integration, AKS, Azure networking and network virtualization, Azure storage, Azure monitoring, Azure Container Repository, Azure Web APP, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Function Apps, Service Bus, MsSQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Event Grids, Key Vault, Azure VMSS, Logic Apps, DevOps, Version control ,Azure DevOps Pipelines, Release management and tooling like Ansible, PowerShell and Azure app insights
An understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including virtual machines, virtual networking, Database and storage.
Strong background in network configuration, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), VPNs, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
Experience with containerization technologies and tools, Docker, Portioner, etc.
Nice to Have:
Should have worked on SVN, GitHub, and Continuous Integration environment like Jenkins
Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Experience Required
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Implementing CI/CD process flow using Azure DevOps Platform, Terraform.
Experience of 3+ years on Azure cloud platform tools mainly AKS-Kubernetes engines, COSMOS DB and Container.
Participate in all phases of Azure solution delivery life cycle to provide architectural guidance, influence technical architecture and ensure architectural details adhere to adopted cloud standards and patterns that meet non-functional requirements in production and non-prod environments.
Lead design process for network connectivity between Azure and on-premises resources adhering to standards and security requirements.
Extensive Troubleshooting skills in Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Hands-on experience with Azure Portal, Cloud Shell, Resource Manager, ARM Templates, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience maintaining cloud platforms on a major cloud service provider.
Experience Python, Ansible and shell scripting, Excellent understanding of Linux /Windows operating systems administration.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, as well as cloud native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Administers and enhances the Business Intelligence team's Azure subscription resources and DevOps automated deployment pipelines, ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, and auditable support.
Strong understanding and backgro und of working with a complex IAM infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD, and Ping Identity, Okta, or other SSO solutions.
Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos and Windows Authentication
Systematic problem-solving approach, sense of ownership and drive.
Strong experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Database, NoSql, Network and Security.
Provide solution support and configuration changes across all environments.
Maintain and ensure availability, monitoring and capacity of production and non-production environments.
Maintain subscription runs book and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities.
Drive continuous improvement and innovative DevOps practices and tooling for administration, provisioning and deployment including lower environment self-service for developers and testing teams.
Define and implement monitoring and management capabilities for both availability and performance management including notification and ticketing.
Develop and maintain solution documentation, configuration and standards.
Review solutions to ensure standards and change control process are met.
Develop, maintain and deliver knowledge, transfer documentations and learning sessions to team members and support team members.
Accountable for oversight of vendor work and act as liaison to coordinate activities with vendors and other solutions teams.
Salary Range- $110,000-$125,000 a year
