Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is not a remote position.
Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location
Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an end-of-year bonus.

Required Education:10+ years of software development with a Bachelor of Science degree OR Associate degree with 2 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a security clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check. Eligibility for a TS/SCI Clearance will be assessed as part of the onboarding process or based on programmatic needs.

- Work hand-in-hand with other systems engineers, software engineers, and DevSecOps teams to push the boundaries of what's possible.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and data modeling.
- Experience with Space and Air domain systems-if you've built models for aerospace, we definitely want to talk.
- Proven expertise in enterprise data modeling and CAMEO.
- Deep familiarity with DoD systems and security requirements-because security isn't just a checkbox.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architectures and microservices-future-proofing is your thing.
- Sharp analytical mind-you love breaking down tough data challenges and turning them into elegant solutions.
- Experience in testing, validation, and debugging-because data integrity is non-negotiable.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)-handling massive datasets is second nature to you.
- Ability to translate complex needs into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
- Top-tier communication and collaboration skills-because data problems don't get solved in a vacuum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with NiFi for data automation and optimization.
- Proficiency in UML, ER diagrams, and schema design-whether structured or unstructured, you make data make sense.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud-because the future is in the cloud.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of network engineering principles-because data doesn't move itself.
