Cloud Solutions Architect

ECS is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to work in our Washington, DC office.

• Oversee cloud adoption plans, application design, and cloud management/monitoring.
• Define container-based solutions and cloud formation templates.
• Design infrastructure architecture based on multi-tenancy requirements.
• Work closely with application engineering and technical teams to ensure successful cloud solution rollout.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and make design adjustments, including providing effort estimates for project management.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000

General Description of Benefits

• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines.
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure setup.
• Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions.
• Strong ability to mentor and teach others.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe Methodologies is a plus.
