Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for managing a contract providing financial support services in support of the National Flood Insurance Program.
  • The PM shall oversee the production of financial statements and reports based on policy, claim, and financial transaction information from the Write Your Own (WYO) insurance companies, the Standards Operations and NFIP Direct Contractors. The PM shall also oversee support activities that include analyzing, reconciling, collecting, monitoring, disseminating, maintaining, and updating information on the NFIP's finances. The PM shall oversee the support for all financial audits.

Skills:
  • Possess the ability to develop realistic budgets, track expenditures, and justify resource allocations.
  • Be familiar with the financial audit process within the federal government.
  • Possess a strong understanding of federal contracting processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Possess strong leadership skills. The candidate must have experience guiding teams, making decisions, and resolving conflicts.
  • Possess excellent communication skills. Be able to interact with stakeholders, prepare reports, and present findings.
  • Understand Risk Management, possessing the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing financial data, forecasting, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in planning, scheduling, and executing projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Be familiar with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing federal financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and team members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of job-related experience
